Entry into singapore uni... Big Deal...
I was bored for the past 2 hrs, read friends blog.. read ST forum about this thing.. so wat's the big fuss?
Well aparently there is this father who was concerned that his daughter did not get into a local uni because of her grades (ABE by the way).. hmmm my cousin grade also like this... So he pointed out
1. why is his daughter being denied when her grades were above average..
2. why is there insufficient allocations for students..
3. what else can her daughter do...
The link(dun know why the Internet explorer in the office sux until some options for blogger is unavailable..)

Many replied in the forum stating.. oh Singapore uni's admission criterias are rising.. more places means down valuing of certificates.. should try overseas uni.. cohort too big.. blah blah blah.. ok get the point..
Then i also dun know why some how the forum went about talking about NS le.. Guys just like to talk about NS haha.. I know its a torture to gals.. but bo bian.. 2 years serving it is no joke and it is a big impact on guys.. ha..
Well in my opinion.. wah lao eh.. cannot get into local uni nia ma.. not die right... with your mindset about your daughter must get into uni, I think it sure will ahve some pressure on her one lor.. I got that experience before and even now.. sad..
I guess many Singaporean all only know how to walk straight and not venture out into other paths until someone puts the detour sign there.. Lu Shi Zhi De, Ren Shi Huo De, Zou Chu Qu Jiu You Lu.. (The road is straight, people are alive, it is the path that u choose that determines ur destination and not the road...hmm correct interpretation anot ah? haha)
I think many Singaporean likes to nag and complain rather then try to ask for help.. Can't deny I also does such thing.. but did anyone notice this trend? sometimes the most obvious things end up being ignored by many.. (eyes pasted stamp)
Someone told me.. with good grades does not mean u will get the job.. U need personnel skills most importantly. Something like good communication skills is good.. Think it's essential for u to be able to talk during ur interview.. using ur communication skills, charmed ur way thru and make the them it is indispensible to have u working for them... even if u got good grades, but cannot talk, wat's the point? its like hiring an encycopedia lor... encyocopedia still better.. got pictures...
Did anyone notice that maybe it is the uncertainty that not all JC students can get into Uni that actually gave rise to the number of applicants for Polys? Think partially its due to this.. at least after grad from poly u still got diploma..
To my cousin.. Told U so.. Should go Poly Lah.. U go institute for 3 years, might as well go Poly.. better then getting some A level cert and ur results end up like this.. Wah Kao... Wish u all the best to get into SIM....
